Grissom won the Championship of France at 27 months old and his Champions title at 2 years and 9 months old. He was only the 25th Leonberger Champion in 10 years and the only Father / Son Champion combination with Dad Unkas who won his title a few years earlier

Grissom has had 5 litters to date one of which was in the US. a mating for which we travelled to New York for. Its hoped that further mating will take place from semen left in a frozen state
Grissom is out of CH Amalthea Lowe von Walhall and CH, Int Ch Unkas Lowe Vom Osnig, two of the most stunning Leonbergers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Our thanks to Yvonne Natterer of the Lowe Von Walhall Kennel, Germany for letting us have our lovely boy.
Grissom is now lives at home with the other Arcanine Leonbergers, he is quite a character and takes no nonsense from the others. I collected him from Germany after travelling nearly 10 hours one way on Easter Friday 2006 and driving back at 5 am the next day. Nearly 2000 kilometres and 19 hours of driving saw our new boy arrive at home for the first time
Grissom has made a big impact in the European show circuit in his relatively short life, with wins and placing in all major club shows around Europe including 1st Intermediate Male at Leonberg 2007. He is a large male (75 kg)with strong characteristics, large head, big bone and profuse coat. He has a very gentle nature and is kind and loving. Grissom comes from distinguished lines, on his fathers side is Multi CH Unkas Lowe vom Osnig, Grand father Multi CH Barney von der Johann-Adams Muhle, Great Grand Father Fratz v. Feuerbach and Great, Great Grand Father Golf du Verger Chante Merle, widely recognised as one of the best lines in the world, certainly if the hundreds of dogs produced by these males is anything to go by. His mother, CH Amalthea Lowe von Walhall and Grand Mother Persophanie Lowe von Walhall are two of gentlest girls I ever met
