Arcanine Leonbergers are very proud to announce the arrival our very first home grown Leo. Otherwise know as Arcanine Alpheus, or Alfie to his friends.

He was one of 11 pups from our Dilly (Bavaruki Dame Dilly from Arcanine) and our rising star Grissom (Jodokus Lowe Von Walhall) This makes him in most part of German lines with a little French thrown in for good luck. All being well, Alfie will be in the show ring in 2008

Alfie and Maisie at the Spanish Club show 2nd August 2008. Alfie wins 1st in Male Baby and then Best Baby at 4 months old.

Developing in very similar ways to his Dad, Alfie was 31kgs at 4 months old, quite blond in his coat, good dark mask, plenty of bone and a very sweet experession.

The Judge complimented him on his contruction and Alfie thanked her with paw and a lick...what more could yo ask for?

His next show will be Leonberg, the German Club Show where he will be in baby class after which we will do Remornatin, the French Club Show.

Alfie at 3 months old and weighing in at 20 kgs. A good weight and a lovely little character. Lots of bone, lovely dark, almond shape eye and the beginning of a long coat. Lots is similarities with his Dad, Grissom at this age.
